Book Rating But the muscled arms that captured her were inescapable—and suddenly Jane found herself agreeing to a month-long cruise of the Caribbean. It was a full-fledged romp on the open seas, where Jane challenged Jake at every turn: faced with her lively mind, indomitable spirit, and her deliciously untouched body, he felt powerless to resist her.

Stormy VowsFor a struggling actress, a private…. She was always in search of the great adventure that was her destiny, and when film director Roman Gallagher barely missed her with his Jeep, she knew that lightning had struck! But his dark, tormented soul refused to accept the love she vowed. Having said that, the characters were likeable enough despite the fact Laurel and Jack both had horrible histories so they probably deserved each other! Laurel returns home to the deep south after suffering a nervous breakdown from losing her job as a public prosecutor.

Jack is a womaniser and writes horror stories. I found the story to be an easy read but there was a lot of repetition of both characters feeling sorry for themselves. I would have preferred less romantic scenes and more sleuthing. Rebellious and volatile by nature Lilah Mason is also very…. The plot was good, if a liitle predicted, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Sandra Brown has a way with words, and the reader just feels part of the scene.

Despite not using any crude words, but only suble ones, the reader could feel the eroticism of the situations described. I loves the characters, and how they actually had characters. The Price of Doing Business Tor. Google eBook 32 pges.
